The OMNP Polar Expedition isn’t just a trip. It’s a bold leap into one of Earth’s most extraordinary and diverse ecosystems, designed for everybody, especially for the photographers, adventurers, and dreamers, who want more than just beautiful images.
You’ll walk beside apex predators like polar bears, watch foxes vanish into drifts of snow, and, if we're lucky, stand in silence beneath the aurora as it dances across the frozen sky.

🧭 What’s NOT Included
- Flights (However, we are able to offer access to corporately discounted rates for return flights from Winnipeg to Churchill at significant discount, just ask!!!)
- Meals (There is a continental breakfast at the lodge included and we typically brown bag it OR we stop at the Churchill Northern Studies Centre for buffet lunch around $25/cad/ea and for dinner, most restaurants are around $65-$75/dinner plus tax/gratuity. A good budget for lunches and dinners each day is between $100-$150) Dinners will be booked as a group, you will just need to ensure that you contact them with any food allergies, etc.
- Gratuities to guides/drivers (on average, most guests plan for about $2-300/ea for the week to the local guide(s))
- Alcoholic beverages and any other snacks
- Travel / Medical Insurance (REQUIRED - it is very remote therefore this is a must!)
- Personal items such as souvenirs, etc.

This is where the boreal forest meets the tundra, and the fresh waters of the mighty Churchill River and the Arctic waters of the Hudson Bay meet and the ice begins to form.
It’s raw. Remote. Breath-takingly beautiful.
And right now, it’s one of the best places on Earth to experience polar bears in the wild, not behind fences or in zoos, but roaming free on ancestral land as the seasons turn.

** 3.5% fee for all credit and debit charges.
ALL fees are NON-REFUNDABLE - due to the remoteness of this expedition. Therefore, travel and medical insurance including trip cancellation/interruption, baggage, etc and at least $5M for emergency medical is HIGHLY recommended.
