From the icy stillness of polar bear country to the chaos of personal unraveling, my talks explore what it means to stand at the edge—of the world, of identity, and of healing.
Whether I’m deep in the Arctic or reflecting on trauma and triumph, I speak from a place of lived experience, raw truth, and a deep desire to connect. These stories aren’t polished fables—they’re real, layered, and rooted in places few people dare to go.
As an internationally recognized wildlife photographer, mental health advocate, and former financial professional who walked away from a toxic career to chase meaning over money, I know what it means to reinvent your life from the inside out.
My talks blend breathtaking photography, honest storytelling, and practical insights that leave people thinking long after the applause ends. From boardrooms to auditoriums, I deliver keynotes that aren't just heard—they're felt.
These aren't just keynotes. They're journeys—through landscapes, lives, and inner battles—with laughter, heart, and purpose guiding the way.

Hi, I’m Shaun Antle, the guy behind Oh Me Nerves Photography. I’m a photographer and artist based in Sarnia, Ontario, though my heart will always belong to Newfoundland. My love for photography really took off in 2001 when I began traveling extensively—since then, I’ve explored over 30 countries, all 10 Canadian provinces, and most of the U.S. It all started with meaningful trips to England and West Africa, where I worked with local groups supporting the homeless and orphanages.
These days, I focus on landscape, wildlife, lifestyle, pet, aerial, and product photography. My work has been featured by Canon Canada, Sigma, CBC Newfoundland, and Canadian Geographic—including calendar covers and featured photos in their 2025 editions.
Photography isn’t just a passion for me—it’s a lifeline. It helps me manage anxiety and find peace, and I hope my images bring that same feeling to others. I live with my amazing wife, Tara, our two kids, Ethan and Callie, and our beloved dog Nash. Between her love of Highland dance and my camera obsession, we keep life full of creativity and joy.

Title: From Breakdown to Breakthrough:
One Man’s Journey Through Adversity, Art, and the Arctic Shaun’s story is a powerful testament to resilience, reinvention, and the courage it takes to chase an impossible dream. After 15 years in a high-stress, cutthroat financial career under a toxic and abusive boss, he walked away from comfort and convention to pursue what truly called to him: photography, purpose, and healing. A camera that once offered escape soon became a lifeline, guiding him through the aftermath of sexual assault, a near-fatal stabbing, and ongoing mental health battles—and eventually leading him to the far reaches of the Canadian Arctic, where he stood face to face with wild polar bears, fulfilling a childhood dream he once believed was out of reach.
In this visually captivating and emotionally raw talk, Shaun blends breathtaking wildlife imagery with unflinching honesty about the darkest and most defining moments of his life. With over 25 years of photography experience, and a life shaped by both trauma and triumph, he invites audiences into a deeply personal story of loss, rediscovery, and the transformative power of creativity.
Shaun’s message is one of possibility—for the dreamers, the burned-out professionals, the survivors, and anyone standing at the edge of change. This talk is not just inspiration; it’s a call to action: to believe in your ability to rebuild, to reconnect with your own passions, and to create a life that feels wildly, authentically yours.
