Introduction

We are excited to present a captivating documentary project based on stunning footage captured during my recent expedition to Churchill, Manitoba. This film will showcase the incredible wildlife, landscapes, ecosystems, and the stories of the people.The documentary will serve as a platform to inspire action and promote awareness about the interconnected challenges of a changing climate, conservation, and cultural preservation.

Vision

The current project will focus on producing a 30-50 minute documentary that highlights the beauty and significance of Churchill and its surroundings. However, the ambition is to expand this into a three-part series, requiring 2-3 additional expeditions to deepen the narrative and explore even more of the region’s natural and cultural treasures such as the Beluga Whales, Aurora Borealis, Polar Bear Cubs and the incredibly resilient Indigenous communities of the North!

Funding Needs

We are seeking $5,000 to complete this first installment. This will cover production costs, editing, and promotional outreach. We already have a speaking and gallery tour, where we would be sharing a 30-60 second trailer at each event, promoting the project. To get started, we simply need a $1,000 commitment before the end of 2024 to ensure we can move forward with this important project.
